GOLDOC is focused on planning and delivering the 2018 Commonwealth Games to the highest possible standard. The organisation as a whole is founded by five key values; Global, Respect, Excellence, Accountability and Trust, of which drive all actions. The impacts of GC2018 will be resounding across the Gold Coast region Prayag, Hosany, Nunkoo & Alders (2012) identified this to be in the form of increased tourism development, environmental awareness, improved infrastructure, amplified sports participation and increased skills development. Hence, GOLDOC maintains an extremely open and inclusive culture. The result of which is an extremely fun and productive workplace, filled with motivated and passionate employees. Working within the GOLDOC office is an experience like no other; everybody is working for the common good, sharing efficiencies and bountiful knowledge. This is further aided by the interior design of the building and the close proximity to other workers, that allows for ease of information sharing.
